About Hey Ricochet
Hey Ricochet is a line of extremely cute and super functional hair accessories from two friends in Austin, Texas. Why Hair Clips? The short answer? They love them, and think they’re really fun. The long answer? Hey Ricochet is the brainchild of Andrea Stein and Cayce Matteoli, an author-illustrator duo known for their whimsical, magical children’s books. As busy moms and small business owners, they're constantly reaching for hair clips and claws to keep their hair up and away from tiny hands without damaging it. When one of them brought up the idea of designing their own line, it was immediate explosion of ideas bouncing off each other—a ricochet, if you will.
